Real stories from the communities, partners, and individuals whose lives have been touched by Connect Signal.
Beena Panchal live in Shirampura Village of Sanganer tehsil. She used to live in her house and did not have any work. In 2021 she Joined apparel manufacturing course in Shrirampura which was sponsored by Bosch India. During the training she learnt manufacturing of various ladies and kids garments. After the training this unit was converted in production house. She started to work at this unit. Now her group is getting work from various garment manufacturers from Jaipur. Now she has purchased a Machine for her home and stitch garment and made up articles from her home during spare time as well as work at the unit.
Mamta, a Class 8 pass from a farming family, had no income opportunities beyond household work. She enrolled in a Bosch Foundation-supported tailoring training program in her village, learning stitching skills that she began applying from home. Starting by stitching for her own family, she gradually built a client base from nearby areas. She now earns ₹8,000 per month through tailoring — contributing financially alongside her father and achieving self-reliance and confidence from her own home.
Monika, a B.A. graduate from a farming family, was unemployed after completing her education. She enrolled in a Bosch-supported sewing training program run by Connect Signal NGO at her village community center, where she gained hands-on skills in stitching, cutting, and finishing on industrial machines. Her dedication led to a placement opportunity at the center itself. She now earns a monthly income of ₹3,000, transitioning from an unemployed graduate to a self-reliant earning member of her family — demonstrating how targeted skill training can drive financial independence for rural women.
